Specification

  • The diameter of this axle is 15 mm and the true length of the axle shaft is 142 mm. Please note: Thru-axle lengths do not equal hub standards. An axle has to be longer than the hub to fit in the frame. A 15×100 hub does not equal a 100 mm long axle.
  • This axle has a M15 x 1.5 mm thread pitch.
  • Weight: 40 grams
  • The axle is precision CNC machined in the USA from 7075 aluminum and hard anodized for rugged durability. Our axles are built to the tightest standards in the industry.
  • No special tools required. Design allows for installation or wheel removal using your standard 6 mm hex wrench.
  • Designed, built and quality tested in the USA. Proven around the world.

  1. Ken N. (verified owner)

I purchased this RAP thru-axle to replace a 15mm QR on an X-Fusion Sweep, non-boost spacing. The factory QR axle kept coming loose, which is never a good thing, and this is the perfect replacement for it. The non-boost version axle length is 140mm, this one is 142mm, which means 2mm protrudes on the non-drive side. The RAP axle has twice the thread count of the stock axle, so there is plenty of thread engagement to ensure your wheel is secure. The 2mm axle protrusion isn’t noticeable, and after 50 miles of riding, the axle hasn’t backed off at all. Great purchase, and I cannot recommend it enough!
